The beginning of the facts

Before the start of the Virgin Mary’s apparitions, I was prepared in dreams by the Lord for this work they would ask of me and my mother.  On several occasions, the Lord gave me revelations in dreams, which in reality were a preparation for the apparitions of the Mother of God.

On Saturday, April 30, 1994, in my home while praying the rosary with my family and friends, I heard the very beautiful voice of a young woman who spoke to me:

​"Pray with the heart!"

I looked around to see who it was and saw no one.  I only saw my family and friends who were praying with their heads down and their eyes closed.  I thought to myself, "Where did this voice come from and who is it?" I continued praying the rosary and by the third mystery, I heard again the voice that told me:

​

"Pray the rosary every day!"

​Again, I opened my eyes quickly and looked around, but saw no one, only my family and my brothers who prayed with me. I thought about what I had just heard and it seemed that my heart was vibrating and would explode with peace and joy.

When we were going to pray the Hail Holy Queen and we knelt down, I looked at the picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the wall of the living room.  I saw that they were different, as if they had become alive or moved to come off the wall.  In this moment, I heard again the beautiful voice of that young woman, that came from the direction of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, who said to me:

"I am about to arrive.  Wait!"

At the end of the rosary, when my friends had left, I called my mother and told her what had happened. I felt in my heart that I had to speak only to her. The same thing happened when my mother saw the Virgin for the second time.  She immediately went to my room to wake me up and tell me that she had seen Her. I understood later on that Our Lady was choosing each of us for the mission of evangelizing in the Amazon with Her holy messages.

 

The first apparition to Maria do Carmo: May 2, 1994

The apparitions of Our Lady began on May 2, 1994. The first person to see Our Lady was my mother, who is called Maria do Carmo. This happened in the living room of our house, at which time she was praying very early at 4:00 am.

After she had prayed her rosary, she was surprised by a very strong light that illuminated the whole room where she was. In this light was a beautiful young woman, wearing a long white dress that reached to her feet, and a mantle of the same color, which covered her head and sides.

The young woman was holding with her two hands a rosary of blue beads and showing it to my mother and said:

"Pray, pray!"

This was the first apparition. This actually happened on a Monday.  On the previous Saturday of this day, April 30, I was praying with my siblings and friends before the altar of Our Lady in this room. During the prayer, I heard a very beautiful voice that said to me:

"Pray with your heart.  Pray the rosary every day.  I am about to arrive: wait!" 

From then on, whether for me or for my mother, Jesus, Our Lady or St. Joseph, would appear and give us messages inviting all humanity to prayer, conversion and a change to holy lives.

A touching fact was that in the first apparition Our Lady showed my brother Quirino to my mother.  My brother died accidentally in 1989, on September 1, while playing.  This made my mother suffer a lot and all of us. Our Lady at the first apparition showed my brother to my mother to tell her that he was with God and with Her in Heaven and that he was well and that my mother prayed a lot to see him one day again in the glory of the Lord.

"I was in my brother's room and had begun to pray the rosary.  On the dresser, there was a small image of Our Lady, Rosa Mystica.  It was in the morning, more or less 10:00 am.  My mother joined me to pray the rosary and when we were in the third mystery, the image of Our Lady was illuminated and began to grow to become the size of a person.  At this moment, I saw nothing else only Our Lady who was there in front of me, alive as she smiled, with Her hands united in prayer and she was looking at me.  She opened Her hands, She lowered her arms as if she was pouring graces on us and on the world.  Then She disappeared.  This lasted for about 6 seconds.  It was very fast.  I think if it had lasted a little more, I would had died because the emotion was very strong that it seemed that my heart would come out of my mouth as I was so amazed and thrilled.  I asked my mother if she had seen something and she confirmed saying pretty much the same thing I had seen.  It was beautiful.  I will never forget this day. It was May 31,1994.”

Since then, Our Lady has begun to come daily. Many times, She came to appear as represented in her various apparitions occurring in the world or in her images.  Sometimes She brings on her head a very beautiful golden crown with precious stones and sometimes 12 small golden stars which form a beautiful circle.   When I questioned Her on May 21, 1994, when I was praying at home with my family and friends:

Who is appearing to my mother and speaking to me?

She answered:  "I am the Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus!"

Her voice is so beautiful that listening to it my heart beat hard and vibrated, as it had never happened in my entire life, it seemed that it had expanded and grown inside my chest.  I was very excited on this day.  I wanted to stay there forever, because I would never tire of hearing Her.  Who can understand what I am saying? Only those who have passed or passes through a similar experience.
