About the Spring
It was on October 10, 1996, that the Blessed Virgin, sent by God, granted her sons and daughters new celestial graces in Itapiranga. Appearing to Maria do Carmo in the morning of this day, She told her to tell her husband to take her and her son Edson to a place indicated by Her, of which he knew and where a spring existed. When they arrived at the place indicated by the Virgin, they began praying the rosary at 3:00 pm, as She had requested. Edson describes how the event occurred: "On October 10, 1996, the Virgin had asked my mother during an apparition to have my father take us to a place indicated by Her where there existed a spring of water and to pray the rosary at 3 o'clock, and then she would tell us what she wanted. At the end of the rosary, Our Lady appeared. She was very happy that day, dressed in a different way from the other times she had appeared to me. She had on a white veil, with a white dress and a light lilac mantle embroidered with roses of a lighter color that adorned Her. She had Her hands resting on Her chest and She told us: "I am the Immaculate Conception!" What called my attention was that in this apparition, Our Lady was not with Her feet on a cloud as in other apparitions and I did not understand the reason. Shortly thereafter, She went on to say: "I am the Virgin of Grace, the Mother of God and Mother of all humanity. My divine Son Jesus and Lord wish to grant all my children of the whole world new Heavenly graces and sent me here in this place to bless the water of this spring." It was at this moment that Our Lady, slowly lowering Herself from the place where she was suspended in the air, placed Her feet in the water of the spring and wet them. Immediately afterwards she wet Her holy hands where the water poured out and traced three times the sign of the cross with her right hand blessing the water of the spring. Looking at us maternally, the Virgin said: "Let all my children of the world know and have knowledge that I, the Virgin Mary and Mother of God, bathed my holy and virginal feet and wet my holy hands in the water of this spring. All those who drink this water with faith and without mortal sin, making a firm purpose of conversion and amendment, will receive the grace of healing for their bodily and spiritual illnesses. The water of the spring, for those who have faith, will serve to cure all kinds of diseases. This spring is for all my sick children all over the world. I want to comfort you in your pains and your sufferings. I have obtained from my Son Jesus this grace. In fact, His Sacred Heart is rich in mercy and grace, being a fountain of living water for all my children in the whole world, so this fountain should be known as the Fountain of Mercy and Grace, for it is a grace of the His Sacred Heart. This place should be arranged well. Some of the water should be reserved for drinking and another should be reserved for my sick children to bathe in. May everyone have knowledge of my visit here. I bless you all: in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. See you soon!" After transmitting this message, Our Lady disappeared." Lately, there are many who go to the spring, in search of a grace or cure for their illnesses. Graces of healings have been achieved by this water blessed by the Virgin. Our Lady wishes that every November 9 of each year, be fulfilled in Itapiranga as the prayer day of healing for the sick, and that in these days all will go to the spring in procession, to pray for them and to receive the graces of Her Son Jesus and of Her Immaculate Heart. It is good to remember that all must have a purpose of amendment and sincere repentance of their sins. Our Lady said to Maria do Carmo in an apparition that for those who are in mortal sin, the water of the spring would be ineffective. Before using the water: When receiving all grace that God gives humanity for bodily or spiritual good, one should use or drink this water with a spirit of prayer and thanksgiving. Blessed Mother asked at least to pray a decade of the Holy Rosary. There should be repentance first and then followed by praying an Act of Contrition, 1 Our Father, 10 Hail Marys, and 1 Glory Be. We must give thanks to God for the grace of the water blessed by Her and ask for the healing of the soul and the body.

About the Chapel
At the beginning of the apparitions, the Blessed Virgin, appearing to Maria do Carmo in her residence in the city of Manaus, showed her during an apparition a plot of land owned by her husband located in Itapiranga, a city with a distance of 5 hours from Manaus, via highway. Indicating a place, the mother of God told her: "I want you to make here a temporary straw chapel." And she asked Edson and Maria do Carmo to attend to this request and to go to Itapiranga to pray with her children, because She would transmit messages of peace, love, prayer and conversion to all her children throughout the world. During another apparition in Itapiranga, the Blessed Virgin led Edson to the place where she wanted the chapel to be built and asked him to kiss the ground three times in thanksgiving to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, for this grace granted. Then She added: "Take this stick and mark with it the place where I want constructed the chapel to be built here ..." With Her hand She pointed to Edson the location. After all this was done, the mother of God, directing Herself to all the people present, said: "Here in this place, I want a small chapel to be built in my honor. May the people hurry this request. A request that comes directly from my Son Jesus. May everything I have said in these last days be fulfilled, in my Heavenly warnings, in my maternal messages. Pray the Holy Rosary. Pray, Pray, Pray. Pray for peace in the whole world and for the conversion of sinners. Pray for the Pope, for the Bishops, for the Priests and for all the Consecrated Souls. I am the Queen of the World, the Queen of Peace and the Rosa Mystica. I bless you all: in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen. See you Soon!" Jesus, in order to give more value and importance to the request of his Mother, deigned to appear in the place where the chapel was to be built and with His feet touched the ground of the place, asking Edson to hurry up the construction and to live deeply the messages already transmitted by Him and the Virgin. The Mother of God told Maria do Carmo that the chapel is in honor and in memory of all her rubber tapper children who were killed, mistreated and exploited by the pride and greed of the great in the past and by those who suffer today. She, the Virgin, wants to show us that She is the mother of the poor and the suffering.

Apparition Site of St. Michael, the Archangel
Before arriving at the chapel, there is a murici tree, where the Virgin told Edson that St. Michael the Archangel stays constantly in this place, guarding and protecting the holy place. And all of Her children who go to the chapel, when they pass in this place, should pray to St. Michael the Archangel one Our Father, three Hail Marys, and one Glory be to the Father, asking for his protection, as also the protection of St. Gabriel and St. Raphael. St. Michael the Archangel, in order to show Edson his presence in this place, deigned to appear several times before this tree and always when any apparition occurred he would lead him to it and from there he would convey a message from Jesus and the Virgin. Other times, it is Our Lady who leads him and asks him to pray to St. Michael the Archangel. Edson says the Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael are very beautiful too. St. Michael presents himself as a teenager of about 15 years old with a long white robe with long wings. He has in his robe, on his chest, a golden cross designed in the form of light. St. Gabriel looks like a 12 year old boy and St. Raphael a teenager of 18 years old. They are Archangels who present themselves as people, in human form, but are celestial spirits. There have no bodies. Edson tells us that there is a great difference between their visions with those he receives from Jesus, Our Lady and St. Joseph, where he can touch them, embrace them, or kiss them. With the apparitions of the Archangels this does not happen even with the apparitions of any other saint when he saw them. The Archangels only materialized as living people when they were to teach Edson something or lead him elsewhere by express order of God. Only in these cases did Edson feel them as living people, for they led him by the hand in these places. Another thing Edson tells us is that the Archangels, despite the difference from one to another in height, are as if they were identical twins. They resemble each other a lot, which only differentiates them by size and how they are dressed.

About the Holy Cross Hill
In Itapiranga, near the chapel on a small hill, Our Lady asked Edson on March 19, 1995 (St. Joseph's Day), during an apparition, to place a cross there. In the message of this day the Virgin had said to him: "Here I want a cross to be placed. May the people hurry at my request!" Then raising Her arms to Heaven, She said, "The Lord sends me here to bring you His graces and His blessings." On April 23, 1995, Jesus, in a splendid apparition in the sky of Itapiranga indicating with His hand the cross of the hill, said to Maria do Carmo: "It is there, at the Holy Cross that all people should give thanks and to ask. I will not deny anything to anyone!" In another apparition, again she is told that all who ask in faith before this cross would receive all graces. And on this cross, the Mother of God, in Her appearance in October 1996, told Edson that she will give a visible sign, that all will believe in Her maternal presence in Itapiranga, but for the unbelievers it will be too late for their conversion. She did not tell him the day, the month, the year, and the hour when this sign would happen, but She told him that when She finished her apparitions in Itapiranga, it would not be long before it happened. To Edson during an apparition which occurred before the cross in this place, the Mother of God gave a message that surprised him: "Here I will crush the serpent's head!" Our Lady did not tell Edson: "I will crush ...", but rather: "Here I will crush ...", which means that Itapiranga is destined for the great final events with the definitive defeat of the infernal serpent that has taken to ruin so many souls. In Itapiranga, the enemy will be destroyed and defeated and Our Lady will shine as Queen of all the hearts and of all the families that listened and lived Her maternal appeals.
About the Prayer Field
At the beginning of the apparitions, Our Lady and Jesus appeared many times before the cross placed on the hill near the chapel. As many pilgrims flocked to Itapiranga, this place was getting too small to accommodate so many people, and this worried Edson's father a lot. Everyone wanted to be as close as possible to the place of the apparition when Our Lady arrived and this was impossible because the place was very narrow and on a hill. It was then that Edson's father asked him to ask Our Lady if there would be any problem of him making an open field on the land where prayers could be held with the pilgrims and the apparitions. Edson, during the apparition, mentioned this problem and the request of his father to the Mother of God, to which she replied: "Yes, you can do as you wish. There is no problem. I can appear in any place." After this message, it was then that they made a prayer field, where today apparitions occur in Itapiranga since 1998. At the request of the Virgin, the field is called: Prayer Field of the Holy Family. A long time ago, at the beginning of the apparitions, when the prayer field had not yet existed, Our Lady had appeared to Edson in this place and told him that a great crucifix should be erected there. She also told him that one day he would know the reason. So now, Edson understands that this prayer field was already in the Virgin's plans. In the place that She asked the great crucifix to be placed will be the place where her final apparitions will occur and where her great Sanctuary will be built in the Amazons, the largest Sanctuary of the Northern Region of Brazil.
