What does the local Bishop Carillo Gritti think about these manifestations?

Bishop Carillo Gritti went to Itapiranga, to the site of the manifestations of Our Lady, to celebrate Holy Mass, for the first time to the pilgrims, on May 08, 2005, showing interest in the events. That morning the Bishop before the pilgrims said:
"The salvation of the Amazon will come out of Itacoatiara and we can also say of Itapiranga ... In these five years I spent in this prelature, having had previous knowledge of what was happening here on this land, have deepened more in these years, my position began to take shape. Is it possible that from here will salvation come to the whole Amazon? Who knows? I start to believe that yes. In the lap of Mary, we find Jesus. At the foot of the cross, we find Mary ... and She is the Queen of Peace who appeared, who has manifested here, because peace comes only from God."
Could these words by Bishop Carillo be a prophecy of the new times that God wishes to grant to the people of the Amazon? Times of peace and graces revealed so often in the messages of the Virgin in Itapiranga? Continuing his speech he uttered the following words that make us understand even more the importance of Mary's presence in Itapiranga and the true motive of Her apparitions:
"In order that there be salvation God chooses His ways, and if it is His Will here one day will be a great sanctuary and a dawn also of salvation for this land, coveted and unrespected land, land for which non-human projects are made and nor less divine, so that Our Lady guarding the forest becomes the center of radiation, and why not, so that the salvation through Mary radiates from here to the Amazon."
These words filled the hearts of the pilgrims with joy, waiting for a new dawn of peace and love in the Amazon, where Our Lady will implant the kingdom of Her Son Jesus in the midst of Her people that she did not forget. On August 6, 2005, after the visit of the Bishop at the site of the apparitions the Virgin appeared to Edson very happy and said:
"Dear children, today my Immaculate Heart rejoices with joy, because my plans for conversion are now really coming to be realized as I have wanted. God is happy with the attitude of the current Bishop (Carillo Gritti), because he has his heart open. Pray still more and thus the Lord's graces will descend in abundance in the Amazon. Behold, I have asked the Lord to act strongly and to grant you many graces, and he has answered me. When my children are obedient and listen to my appeals, the Lord is generous and thus His blessing and His grace is poured out mightily upon you. I continue to intercede before His throne for peace. Pray for peace! I love you and thank you for the prayers and sacrifices you are all offering to the Lord these days. I am accepting every sacrifice of yours and presenting to the Lord. God is happy with all of you."
* On January 31, 2010 (Feast of Saint John Bosco), Bishop Carillo Gritti of the Prelature of Itacoatiara, made a Decree of Worship favoring the apparitions of the Virgin Mary, Queen of the Rosary and Peace. After studying with attention to the events, he authorizes the pilgrimages and public worship of these apparitions that occurred in the years 1994 to 1998, in Itapiranga, inside of the Amazon. "This Decree of Worship," says Carillo, "aims to foster the spiritual life of the people of God who are here to honor the apparitions of Our Lady that gave rise to this devotion in this place." From this year of 2010 and on, the Bishop will establish a Medical and Theological Commission that will accompany the events gathering all the testimonies and final objective elements for a just and right judgment on the apparitions occurred in Itapiranga, offering a safe and credible base to the Church. On May 2 of this year will be celebrated the 16th anniversary of these apparitions and it is estimated a large number of pilgrims from many locations in the Amazon.

DECREE OF WORSHIP
Since 1994, many Catholics have done pilgrimages to Itapiranga, in a place called “Sanctuary” to honor the Virgin Mary. These pilgrimages and religious gatherings yielded and are yielding many fruits of grace. Without falling into the temptation of sensationalism and of fanaticism, they are developing in the people of God a spirit of prayer and renewing and reinforcing the faith of the pilgrims.
After having carefully studied the events, I authorize these pilgrimages and the public worship, celebrated in the chapel or in the place of the Cross, to invoke Our Lady under the title of Queen of the Rosary and of Peace. Every manifestation of public worship, such as the Holy Mass, Confessions will be under the pastoral responsibility of the appointed priest.
This Decree of Worship, aims to encourage the spiritual life of the people of God that arrive here to honor the apparitions of Our Lady that gave origin to the devotion in this place.
Thus, after a first discernment done by a group of people that I have chosen, from this year, a Commission chosen and instituted by me, will continue to accompany and analyze the facts and events that took place and continue to take place, collecting all necessary medical and theological information, in addition to the testimonies and final objective elements for a just and objective judgment about the events that took place in Itapiranga and in this way offer a secure and credible base for the Church.

Regarding Dom Carillo, for having crowned the image of the Virgin and consecrated his Prelature, together with his priests to the Queen of the Rosary and of Peace of Itapiranga, Edson received the following message from Our Lady on June 28, 2008:
"He is my Bishop. The bishop whom I have long prepared. He is very brave. What he did today no other Bishop of the Amazon had the merit of doing so, that is why his name will be remembered always for eternity. Now I can use my power as Mother and Queen and act strongly as I wished for the salvation of all my children. This Prelature now belongs to me in a special way, because it was delivered to me and here I will show the Amazons and the world the wonders of God, crushing the serpent's head in Itapiranga, when I said at the beginning of my apparitions that I had chosen it (Itapiranga) for the end times and that it would be a holy city. Here is where my great Shrine will be built, the Lord God will destroy all the treachery and pride of the infernal dragon and will make me triumph as Queen of the Amazon and the whole Church."

FIRST STONE
On May 2, 2010, in this area known as Sanctuary, in Itapiranga, Amazon, at 10 in the morning, being present a crowd of faithful in devout prayer and between songs of jubilation, I, Dom Carillo Gritti, Bishop Prelate of this prelature of Itacoatiara, launched the first stone of this new Sanctuary in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary and of Peace, where it lends itself to the worship of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

Itapiranga (Amazon) 1994, May 2nd, Our Lady manifests herself to EDSON GLAUBER COUTINHO.
A simple young man, with completed studies, already disposed to prayer in his own family by the mother, to whom Our Lady manifested herself first by speaking and only seeing the young man.
These manifestations, in which Our Lady liked to be called Queen of the Holy Rosary and of Peace, were progressing in a way that the young Edson, first seeing, then seeing and hearing, continued through 14 years so that currently it is only through messages that she manifests herself.
The young man, who belongs to a simple family, not needy, that has at heart an authentic attitude of prayer and have a particular devotion to Our Lady, I present as “sincere and devout” bearer of visions and messages worthy of being appreciated. By means of a Theological Commission that I instituted, we are appreciating the probable supernatural nature of the events and of the messages.
Being that, in the many manifestations, the Virgin has called for the devotion to the Three Sacred Hearts of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, on May 2nd of 2010, we launched the first stone of a new Sanctuary in honor of the Three Sacred Hearts, in the certainty that one day it will be a place of many pilgrimages. The conversions, that only God through the intercession of Mary can do, have so far been for me and for enlightened souls, enough and sufficient motive to see in these visions and messages God’s finger.
May God and Our Lady, together with her Most Chaste spouse Saint Joseph, accompany us in this road of
re-evangelization from this land of the Amazon.
